Add a Digg Button on your blog

How to integrate a Digg Button into your blogger template, which will be displayed in each of your blogger posts. The button displays the amount of times each post has been dugg and lets users digg directly from your blog.

1- Make sure to Backup your Template!

2- Open your blogger template, click Expand Widget Templates, and search for the code below:

3- Add this code below directly above the searched code above:

<!-- DIGG --><div style="'float:right;"><script type="'text/javascript'">digg_url = '<data:post.url/>';</script></div>

4- Now Preview and Save your Template!

Remove the Blogger Banner

To hide the Blogger Navbar :

1- Log in to blogger

2- On your Dashboard, select Layout. This will take you to the Template tab. Click Edit HTML. Under the Edit Template section you will see you blog's HTML.

3- paste the CSS definition in the top of the template code:

  display: none !important;
}

/* Variable definitions
 ====================
              type="color" default="#fff" value="#ffffff">
              default="#333" value="#333333">
  ...

Remove the code to show it again.

Step by step in video:

Make sure you have backed up your template before installing a new one.

(You can also install a XML template).

1.

You have to choose a Html Template



2.


Copy the code (Ctrl A: Select All, Ctrl C: Copy)



3.


Go to your Blogger Control Panel - Edit HTML


4.


Revert to Classic Template (You can return whenever you want).



5.


Paste the code into the Template area (Ctrl A: Select All, Ctrl V: Paste)



6.


All done!

How to install a Blogger XML template_2

Make sure you have backed up your template before installing a new one.

(You can also install a HTML template).

1.


You have to choose a XML Template



2.


Save the XML file on your hard disk.



3.


Go to your Blogger Control Panel - Edit HTML



4.


Browse the XML file you have saved and upload it.



5.
Finished!
